« BackNational Tourism Forum set for Killarney

The National Tourism Forum which will take place in Killarney later this month has been launched.
Tourism businesses nationwide will meet in Killarney for the two day ‘Let’s Talk Tourism’ conference November 25th and 26th.

Organised by the Kerry Branch of the Irish Hotels Federation, SKAL and Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce; the Forum which will be chaired by Broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan.

Among the topics to be explored is Brexit and its effect on tourism, international tourism trends and tourism policy in Ireland.

Speakers at the event include, Finance professor Brian Lucey, Irish Hotels Federation President Joe Dolan and Chief Executive of the Irish Tourist Industry Confederation, Eoghan O’Mara Walsh.

Day two of the conference will see delegates visit Dingle where they will be shown how the town has developed food and rural tourism on the Dingle Peninsula over the last ten years.

Conference Chairman Seán O’Driscoll encourages local business to attend, as it will be an opportunity for industry grassroots to meet, debate and discuss tourism.
