« BackMore women in Kerry encouraged to contest next election

Women accounted for 19% of candidates in the Kerry constituencies in the 2011 General Election.
That’s according to the group Women for Election. In 2011 four of the 21 candidates were women and the group is hopeful this number will increase in the next election. Women for Election is urging more women in the new Kerry constituency to get equipped for the general election.
