Over 11,000 cyclists are taking part in the Ring of Kerry cycle today – one of the country’s biggest charity events.
The cyclists set off from Killarney early this morning and are raising money for nine charities.
Hundreds of participants have travelled to Killarney from overseas to take part.
Minister Jimmy Deenihan – who was among those taking part – described the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle as a very important event for the Irish Diaspora.
