« BackMinister says new Kerry Group centre most significant development in a decade

The Agriculture Minister says the opening of the new Kerry Group Global Centre in Co Kildare is the most ‘significant development’ in Irish industry in a decade.

The Taoiseach was on hand to open the facility in Naas this afternoon – which is supporting 800 jobs – with 100 more to be added by the end of 2016.

Minister Simon Coveney says the centre will attract more of the world’s leading food companies to Ireland.

He says it’s a huge day for agri-food and homegrown industry.
