The Minister for the Diaspora, Jimmy Deenihan, has announced almost seven million euro in funding to support Irish people in the UK.
The money is being made available through grants to 110 organisations across Britain.
The funds will be used for projects under the Emigrant Support scheme which is operated by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
Minister Deenihan, who’s the Fine Gael TD for North Kerry West Limerick, made the announcement at the Irish Embassy in London.
He also paid tribute to volunteers within the Irish community in Britain who give of their time to help others.
