« BackMinister calls for tax breaks for coastal towns

Coastal towns like Ballybunion, Waterville and Dingle should benefit from tax breaks for businesses that clean up their premises.
Michael Ring
That’s according to Minister of State for Transport, Tourism and Sport Michael Ring, who’s looking for tax incentives to revitalise coastal towns in the forthcoming budget.
Minister Ring says these towns have experienced “harsh winters” in recent years and now need to be “freshened up”.
In an interview with the Irish Times, he says he’s going to talk to Finance Minister Michael Noonan about his proposal but accepts it may not happen due to the volume of requests received.
