A 1.5km metal roadway track is currently being installed by contractors at Ceann Sibeál, west of Dingle, ahead of filming for the next Star Wars.

It’s thought the track has been installed to allow for crew to access the site which sits at the edge of the Dingle Peninsula.

Local reports suggest that filming on Ceann Sibeál is to take place in May over a two week period.
