Members of the public in flood-risk areas are being invited to attend consultation days.
The two public consultation days, which will take place next week, relate to draft flood management plans.
The plans, which are being compiled under the CFRAM policy, include a number of settlements in Kerry.
These include Dingle, Killarney, Glenflesk, Castleisland, Milltown and Kenmare.
The consultations are open to the public from 2.30pm to 7pm, firstly in Castleisland Area offices this coming Friday, and in the Plaza Hotel, Killarney, on September 5th.
