A meeting is taking place later between Kerry County Council and a group of landowners concerned about the planned south Kerry greenway project.
Funding of around three-and-a-half million euro has been secured for the 26 kilometre proposed greenway from Caherciveen to Glenbeigh.
Around 170 parcels of land will be affected by this greenway project and these will be acquired by Complusory Purchase Order.
The meeting in Foilmore Community Centre with Senior Engineer in the Capital Infrastructure Unit with Kerry County Council Tom Sheehy has been requested by a number of landowners.
It is part of ongoing discussions the council is having in the area.
