The Marie Keating Foundation are holding a breast cancer seminar in Tralee this evening.
The event aims to explore how to prevent, detect and survive breast cancer.
It will include talks from a Marie Keating Foundation nurse, a breast cancer survivor, a consultant, and a representative of Kerry cancer support services.
Director of Nursing Services at the Marie Keating Foundation, Helen Forristal says ‘the county has the highest incidence of breast cancer in the country so it’s vital that women in the county come together’.
The seminar gets underway from 6.30 in the Rose Hotel and is free of charge.
