Retailers in the Manor Retail and Leisure Park are calling on Kerry County Council and the OPW to implement an immediate flood plan for the area.
This follows major flooding at the weekend which forced the closure of several businesses, putting up to 45 jobs in jeopardy.
Eight businesses were forced to close after the river, a tributary of the Lee, burst its banks at 2am on Sunday.
They claim the river hasn’t been dredged in 15 years.
Thomas Boyle of Suits Select says he will be closed for at least another week.
Manager of the retail and leisure park, Jack Brosnan, is calling on all those affected to attend a meeting in October to discuss the flood plan.
