A pensioner had his bus pass and €50 in cash stolen from his house while he was in hospital, Tralee District Court has heard.
31-year-old Bogumil Mirga of 105 Cois Abhainn, Tralee is accused of entering the home of the man who is in his early 70s at Clash West, as a trespasser, between November 3rd and November 9th, 2015.
Mirga is also accused of stealing €275 worth of perfume from Boots Chemist on November 10th.
The defendant faces a further charge of causing criminal damage to a window at Café Delights, Market Street on November 18th last year.
Judge James O’Connor remanded him in custody to next Wednesday’s court sitting.
