« BackLispole native Paddy Griffin is London’s Kerry Person of the Year

Lispole native Paddy Griffin was last night honoured as London’s Kerry Person of the Year.
The city’s Kerry Association held its annual dinner and dance at the Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood.
Paddy Griffin, a former journalist with the Irish World newspaper, was commended for his contribution to the GAA in London.
The 59-year-old was secretary of the London County Board for 12 years and was active in the Kingdom Gaelic Football Club in the 1970s.
His wife Josie is also from Lispole and the couple have three children – Thomas, Senan and Sinead.
