« BackLeading Member Of Loyalist Paramilitary Group Murdered In North Belfast

psni-logoA man has been shot dead in north Belfast.
The PSNI said the shooting happened in the Sunningdale Gardens area at about 9.50pm last night.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

The shooting happened in the Sunningdale Gardens area, off the Ballysillan Road, shortly before 10 o’clock.
The top executives at the Northern Ireland Assembly immediately posted their condemnation of the attack on Twitter.
First Minister, Arlene Foster, said she was shocked and disgusted. She urged people to work with the police as they investigate.
Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness, tweeted that there can be no justification for the murder of a well known loyalist. He described the murder as shameful and he unreservedly condemned it.
An investigation has been launched by the PSNI.
