A large number of home repossession cases will come before the court in Tralee in October.
That is according to members of the Kerry Anti-Eviction Taskforce who say there were 64 family homes up for repossession in the Commercial Court in Tralee yesterday.
Mags Knightly and Catherine Dolan of the taskforce say efforts should be made to find a sustainable solution to the problem instead of increasing the number of repossessions and adjournments.
There are over 3,500 homes up for repossession nationwide.
Catherine Dolan adds, while millions of euro were written off for developers who defaulted on their debts, the same liberty is not being provided to those who owe thousands.
