Stars and stripes..Preparations all well under way for this year’s Killarney 4th of July Celebrations, which will take place on Monday 4th July 2016, The hard working committee just launched the third annual event in Killarney town. Killarney have announced their plans to celebrate the 3rd annual 4th Of July Celebration in the town.

It will be a busy weekend in around the celebrations as 11,000 cycling enthusiasts descend upon Killarney for the 33rd Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle on Saturday 2nd of July.

On Sunday 3rd of July Tipperary will meet Kerry in the Munster Final and a huge crowd is expected in Killarney for the game.

Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce are promising that on Monday the 4th of July the celebrations will be bigger, better and more colourful than ever before.

The day will begin with a 7am “Dawn Chorus” of the Star – Spangled Banner performed by a chorus drawn together from local choirs especially for the event.

There will be a host of events throughout the day including live music with the highlight being a big parade through the town.
