The Franciscan Friary in Killarney says some GAA fans have used their property as a public toilet.
On July 5th last, before the Munster Senior Football Final, ten men used the garden of the friary as a bathroom.
Fr Padraig Breheny who’s a member of the order wrote to Cllr Danny Healy-Rae about the problem.
Cllr Healy-Rae says people are using the area as a bathroom as there’s no public toilet in the College Street area.
He says the council has told him there will be portaloos there for the Munster Final replay this Saturday.
But Danny Healy-Rae says Kerry County Council needs to provide a permanent public toilet there.
