« BackKillarney company expands and reaches €20m valuation

A Kerry-based travel technology company has reached a €20 million valuation after a deal with a US-owned business.

Mobacar, which was founded by Cork man Mike Webster, and is based in Killarney, will see its workforce rise to 41 people.

Mobacar technology connects airlines and online travel agents with transport providers like car-rental firms.

The deal with Auto Europe means Mobacar’s software will be linked to its network of car-rental options.
