A couple who were the first to be married in Kerry under the new same-sex marriage laws say the new regime doesn’t necessarily mean gay people will find it easier to live in Ireland.
Reena Blake and Lisa Fingleton who live in Ballybunion are the first same-sex couple to be wed in the county since the marriage equality referendum was passed earlier this year.
Lisa says the support they have had from their friends and neighbours has been wonderful.
She says times are changing in Ireland but acknowledges that some people do not accept same-sex marriage:
