« BackKerrymen step out for charity ‘Run for a Life’ in support of organ donation

donor cardHundreds of people of all ages will turn out for the Irish Kidney Association’s family fun run ‘Run for a Life’ at Corkagh Park in Dublin today at 12 noon in support of organ donation and to raise funds for the Irish Kidney Association.

Among those attending the fun run will be Kerry dialysis athletes Alan Gleeson from Tralee and Patrick O’Connor from Killarney.

Several participants will take part in the annual event to honour their organ donors while others, including some who are awaiting transplants, will take part to help raise awareness about the vital importance of organ donation.
