A Kerryman who revealed he sleeps with a shot gun says he reflects the fears of people living in rural Ireland.
Senator Marie Moloney highlighted in the Seanad the situation of 69-year-old Tony O’Gorman who is so afraid of being burgled that he sleeps with a gun.
The Ballybunion man, who’s a licensed gun holder, says he would never want to hurt anyone.
He says the gun is a deterrent to protect his family from intruders.
Tony O’Gorman believes the justice system favours criminals and needs reform.
