A Kerry woman and her boyfriend are recovering after a parasailing accident in Australia.
Zoe O’Dwyer-Kelly from Barraduff has lived and worked in Sydney for the past number of years and just over a year ago she met her boyfriend Noel from Clare who also lives in the city.
To mark their first anniversary the couple booked a parasailing trip in Manly beach close to Sydney last Sunday.
However, the excursion took a turn for the worse when the cord on the parasail snapped causing the couple to fall 30 feet into the sea below.
The couple both suffered serious injuries and were hospitalised; Zoe had to have a titanium plate inserted due to a fractured skull.
