« BackKerry woman named as one of Ireland’s most powerful women

Geraldine CaseyA Kerry woman has been named as one of Ireland’s most powerful women.

Geraldine Casey made the list of twenty-five compiled by the Sunday Independent.

The Caherciveen native was appointed the People and IT Director for Tesco Ireland in 2014.

Ms Casey joined Tesco in 2001 and became the first female store director in Ireland in 2009.

Geraldine is a voluntary director of NBCI and a ‘Women in Leadership’ sponsor for Tesco.

She also has an interest in the charity sector and is involved in the Tesco Charity Partnership which to date raised €1.5 million for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
