« BackKerry warned to batten down as Storm Gertrude approaches

Kerry County Council is advising motorists to take care on the roads overnight and tomorrow morning.

The warning comes as Storm Gertrude arrives on our shores.

Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for counties including Kerry.

The alert comes into effect at midnight tonight and is valid until 9 o’clock tomorrow morning.

Southwest winds veering westerly will increase 65 to 80 km/h overnight and will gust 110 to 130 km/h at times.
