A Kerry TD has called on the Minister for Agriculture to sort out issues with GLAS payments.
In a Dáil question, Michael Healy-Rae asked Minister for Agriculture, Michael Creed, why some farmers are still waiting for 2015 GLAS payments.
Deputy Healy-Rae says farmers are struggling as a result of the delayed payments, with some contemplating selling stock to survive.
In response, Minister Creed claims a number of applications are not passing pre-payment validation checks due to IT data issues.
However, he says the majority of 2015 applications awaiting payment are being worked through.
