« BackKerry sweeps the boards with five gold medals at Tidy Towns Awards

Kerry has swept the boards at this year’s Tidy Towns Awards – scoring five coveted gold medals.

Listowel, Tralee, Killarney, Kenmare and Sneem all received top honours at the awards which were announced this afternoon in The Helix in Dublin.

Listowel has been named Ireland’s Tidiest Small Town – taking the accolade for the second year in a row.

Marie Hanlon of Listowel Tidy Towns says the group is absolutely ecstatic.

She says the announcement came as something as a surprise – as the group were thinking ahead to next year:
