A mid Kerry student was among just five Irish students invited to represent the country in a Global Tech Summit.
Timothy McGrath was among the team who took part in the event at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
The 2nd year student at Killorglin Community College entered the CoderDojo “Coolest Projects” at the RDS in Dublin earlier this year with an app he developed with his friend and class mate Donal Brennan.
The app helps those who are visually impaired to navigate unfamiliar surroundings using Near Field Technology used for contactless payments with ATM cards.
Timothy who travelled to Amsterdam with his family said it was an honour to represent his school and country at such a high profile event.
