A Kerry Senator says transparency is key to NAMA’s future operations.
In 2011 Fianna Fail’s Mark Daly tabled “The NAMA and Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Transparency Bill” following concerns brought to him.
That proposed that all properties for sale by NAMA would be published on a website; the bill was defeated.
Senator Daly says the best way to maximise a return on a property is competition.
He says the owner of these properties is the taxpayer and in many cases people didn’t know that properties were for sale.
