« BackKerry school named among top twenty schools in Ireland

A Kerry school has been named among the top twenty schools in Ireland.

Coláiste Íde, the all-girls scoil lán gaelach in Baile an Ghoilín, Dingle ranks 16th in the top 400 schools in Ireland, published today by The Sunday Times.

Coláiste Laurel Hill in Limerick, a non fee paying all-girls secondary school, has been ranked number one in Ireland while Coláiste na Coiribe in Galway is Ireland’s best mixed school.

Other Kerry mentions on the list include Presentation Seondary School, Listowel in 53rd place, Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí, Tralee in 80th place and Dingle’s Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne in 101st place.

Kate Butler compiled the best school guide for the Sunday Times and she says Munster schools performed well this year:
