The Kerry Rose intends to pursue a career in human rights law when she finishes her studies.
Danielle O’Sullivan from Killarney was picked from 31 participants to be this year’s Kerry Rose.
The 23-year-old said it was a complete shock to be selected and is excited to take part in this year’s extended week long Rose of Tralee International Festival.
Danielle completed a Law and Economics degree in the University of Limerick and is now studying for a Masters in Human Rights Law.
