An award winning Kerry restaurateur is backing calls for more chefs to be trained.
The comments follow a plea from the Restaurants Association of Ireland which has said the shortage of chefs has now reached crisis levels and threaten the hospitality industry. The group is calling for the re-establishment of the former State tourism training agency CERT to help train 5,000 new chefs annually.
