A 23 year old man charged with two counts of rape has been returned for trial to the next sitting of the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.
Anthony Hussey of Ardsheelin, Sneem appeared before Judge James O’Connor at Kenmare District Court for service of the book of evidence.
He’s been charged with two counts of rape of a woman in September last year.
His solicitor Padraig O’Connell made an application to the court that a gagging order be made so that the accused is not identified.
However, Judge O’Connor said that he may be identified.
