Kerry is to be hit with bad weather in the coming 24 hours.
Wind and rainfall warnings, and a weather advisory are in place for the county. A status yellow wind warning for Kerry is projecting west to southwest winds of 50 to 65 km/hr, with gusts of between 80 and 90 km/hr in exposed areas.
This will be place in place from 2 o’clock today until midday tomorrow.
There’s a status yellow rainfall warning, with showers or longer spell of rain forecast for Kerry from 6 o’clock this evening until 6 tomorrow evening.
Some thundery downpours are likely to lead to spot flooding, with a total of 30 to 50mm of rain expected.

Met Eireann says a deep Atlantic depression is approaching from the southwest is bringing unseasonably strong winds, rough seas, with some heavy thundery rain.
