A senior IFA member says he expects four candidates to run for President of the organisation.
The vote follows the resignation of the former President Eddie Downey who stepped down amid controversial pay and pension packages for high ranking officials.
The new Presidential elections won’t take place until the end of April, but the deadline for nominations is 5.30 this evening.
Two people have been officially nominated so far, Henry Burns and Joe Healy.
