Kerry householders are being given a unique opportunity to dispose of hazardous household waste, free of charge.
On Saturday, January 23rd, recycling centres in Dingle, Milltown, Killarney, Kenmare and Cahersiveen will accept a wide range of hazardous materials, including batteries, paints, varnishes and aersol cans.
They’ll also accept large and small electrical items for recycling, and will have staff on site between 9am and 3pm to help members of the public.
The council’s Environmental Officer Micheal O Coilean ,says it’s a great opportunity for householders to clear out unwanted waste.
