Kerry hotels, a restaurant and visitor attractions swept the boards in the prestigious CIE Tours International Awards of Excellence for 2015.
The awards which are in their 26th year were announced at a ceremony in Dublin Castle last night.
They come from a survey of 28,000 CIE Tours International customers.
Visitors carried by CIE Tours generated revenues of €83 million in 2015.
The Dunloe Hotel in Killarney won best 5 star hotel, The Brehon Hotel in Killarney won best 4 star hotel, while Benners Hotel in Dingle won best 3 star hotel.
Killeen House Hotel in Killarney won best dinner feature, while best lunch went to Davitt’s Restaurant & Bar in Kenmare
Dingle Skellig Hotel, Hotel Europe, the International Hotel, Killarney Avenue Hotel, Killarney Park Hotel, Killarney Plaza Hotel, Killarney Towers Hotel and the Malton hotel, Killarney were also presented with awards.
Brendan Ferris Sheep Dog Trials, Kells, Gabriel Kavanagh Sheep Dog Trials and Famine Cottage, Ventry, John B. Keane’s pub, Listowel, Killarney Horse & Carriage Tours, Kissane Sheep Farm, Muckross House & Gardens, Tagney Tours and Jaunting Car, Killarney and the Gap of Dunloe Ponymen were Kerry’s visitor attraction winners.
