« BackKerry farmers protest in Brussels

Kerry members of the IFA and ICMSA are in Brussels today for a protest coinciding with a crisis meeting of the EU Farm Council.
The Irish Farmers Association’s calling on the EU to increase payments to farmers for their produce.
The IFA says the prices being paid to some farmers falls below the cost of production and Russia’s ban on EU imports is having a knock on affect on farming incomes.
ICMSA is questioning the impact of a totally free market on EU milk production for the first time in three decades.
