« BackKerry farmer describes farmers’ protest in Brussels as militant

A protest by farmers from across Europe in Brussels today has been described as militant.
Noel Murphy from Milltown who is vice chair of the Kerry Branch of ICMSA is in Brussels.

He says up to 6,000 people turned out for the protest and 1,500 tractors blockaded the centre of the city which is home to the European Parliament.

The ICMSA is questioning the impact of a totally free market on EU milk production for the first time in three decades.
