« BackKerry County Council welcomes new communications officer

Kerry County Council has officially welcomed its new communications officer, Owen O’Shea.

Mr O’Shea took up the appointment on Friday and was welcomed by members from all sides of the chamber on Monday.
Cathaoirleach Pat McCarthy said he was sure Mr O’Shea would do a very professional job.
Fianna Fáil councillor Norma Foley said the former Radio Kerry journalist had a distinguished career in media that made him ideally suited to the role.
Labour’s Terry O’Brien said Radio Kerry’s loss was Kerry County Council’s gain while Independent Brendan Cronin said his experience would be a huge asset to the council.
Chief executive of Kerry County Council, Moira Murrell said she looked forward to working with Mr O’Shea over the coming years.
