Two occupants of a Killarney house that was gutted by fire on Monday have been housed in emergency accommodation.
The blaze that gutted the upper floor of the council-owned property in Ballyspillane Estate is not believed to have been started maliciously.
Two units of the fire service tackled the fire that broke out at around 4pm.
A man who suffered minor burns to the hands and face, was treated for his injuries.
Kerry County Council confirmed it is investigating the extent of the damage caused to the property.
