Kerry Airport has reported an operating profit after tax of almost 31,000 euro.
The Farranfore facility has announced its annual report and accounts for the 12-month period up to December 31st last.
Passenger numbers in the period were up four per cent to 307,089, with 20 per cent growth reported on the Dublin route.
Turnover is down five per cent to 5.8 million euro due to a fall in fuel sales but other elements of the Airport’s trading activities grew by 9.3 per cent.
Over half a million euro was spent on safety and security.
Chairman of Kerry Airport Denis Cregan said the facility is continuing to explore and pursue new destinations and new airlines as well as having discussions with current carriers on increasing frequencies on existing routes.
The airport’s AGM will take place in the Earl of Desmond Hotel, Tralee on June 22nd.
