« BackJPC Chair wishes new Chief Superintendent well

Niall Kelleher, Fianna Fáil National ExecutiveThe Chairman of the Kerry Joint Policing Committee is welcoming the appointment of Tom Myers as the new Chief Superintendent for the Kerry Division.

Chief Supt Myers is a native of Gurranabraher in Cork City and won a Scott Medal Award for bravery in 1988.

He is expected to take up the new role on December 13th.

Cllr Niall Kelleher has paid tribute to Chief Superintendent Con Cadogan for his service as Chief Superintendent of An Garda Síochána in the Kerry Division over the past few months.

Cllr Kelleher says Con Cadogan’s time in Kerry was brief but in that time, he showed a strong commitment to policing and the community.
