IT Tralee has confirmed that it won’t be running its Master of Arts in Creative Media when the new academic year begins in September.
The institute says it received a low level of applications – in single digit numbers – for the programme.
Students and graduates of the MA recently organised an event to mark this decision.
They described their gathering as a ‘wake of sorts’ to highlight the impact the end of the MA would have on the creative and academic community.
The alumni of the MA in Creative Media said they feared that the programme is in jeopardy.
