« BackIT Tralee says difficulty in attracting nurses to rural hospitals

Encouraging nurses to work in more rural locations such as Kerry General Hospital is continuing to be a difficulty.

That’s according to the Head of the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences at the Institute of Technology, Tralee Gerardina Harnett.
The comments come as it is reported by the Irish Independent that all 1,500 nursing graduates this year will be offered a permanent and pensionable job in hospitals or other areas of the health service.
