« BackIrish flag now allowed to fly during night

Irish flag over a blue sky backgroundThe Irish flag will now be allowed to fly during the night, as long as it’s properly illuminated.

It reflects the fact that the first time the flag was flown in 1848 by Thomas F Meagher – and the second time during the 1916 Rising – it flew during the day and night.
