« BackIreland South MEP says Brexit would be negative for Ireland

Sean Kelly MEPAn Ireland South MEP has voiced concerns that a UK exit from the EU would severly damage Irish trade.

UK-Irish trade is valued at around €1billion a week by the British-Irish Chamber of Commerce.

According to Fine Gael MEP Seán Kelly, a NO vote in the UK referendum on EU membership would be negative for Ireland.

His comments come after a survey by the Irish Exporters Association showed 95% of its members believe the UK should stay within the EU.

90% of Irish exporters surveyed already trade with the UK.
