« BackIreland South MEP calls for entrepreneurship training to be added to school curriculum

Ireland South MEP Seán Kelly wants secondary school-goers to have the chance to develop their practical business skills.

The former GAA president is proposing entrepreneurship training and workshops be added to the school curriculum.

He says Irish people in general have a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit as evidenced by the strong SME sector – an estimated 99% of active businesses in Ireland.

The former teacher also said that he feels young people should finish school with the skills necessary to found their own businesses.
