« BackIndustrial action by psychiatric nurses in Kerry deferred

Phase Two of industrial action by 130 Kerry psychiatric nurses – due to begin at 8 o clock tonight – has been deferred for 24 hours.

Spokesman for the Psychiatric Nurses Association, Cormac Williams, said the action has been deferred, to allow for further resolution talks at the Workplace Relations Commission tomorrow.

The PNA is involved in a national dispute with the HSE over the retention and recruitment of nurses to the mental health service.
