The chairman of the IFA in Kerry has welcomed the appointment of economist, Con Lucey to head up the review into pay at senior levels in the organisation.
Seán Brosnan said that the trust of ordinary IFA members has to be regained and the concerns of members have to be addressed.
He said that the current situation must not be allowed to happen again.
Mr Brosnan is confident that the review can be completed in a few weeks.
