The Northern Ireland Secretary James Brokenshire has suggested air and sea ports could act as a border frontier for the UK and eliminate the need for a hard border between the Republic and the North.


Tánaiste and justice minister Frances Fitzgerald says the comments aren’t surprising as there’s already co-operation, between Ireland the the UK on security matters.
